About Me

Michelle Lee

My journey into sound healing began with my own search for wellness. Over the years, I discovered that sound helped ease my chronic back pain, boost my immune system, and bring much-needed calm to my mind. I feel deeply called to share this powerful healing practice with others to help people find peace, balance, and clarity in their lives.

My musical roots began in my 20s, when I learnt and performed the Guzheng, a traditional Chinese zither. I took part in various performances for both commercial and non-profit events. Even after moving to Perth, I continued to teach Guzheng privately and performed in venues such as Carillon Square & Crown Perth.

Originally from Kuala Lumpur, I had a challenging start to life. As a child, I was often unwell and missed much of my formal education. I eventually completed a diploma in Mass Communication and worked as a sub-editor, journalist. Following a big turning point was working as a senior marketer and South East Asia Marketing Director in several international IT companies. In my late 30s, I moved to Perth to begin a new chapter. One of my lifelong dreams was to study at the university, and I proudly fulfilled that dream when I graduated from Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Arts in Tourism, Event Management, and Marketing.

As a certified & qualified Sound Healer, I have trained in both the iBalance Sound Healing Master Class and the SoulRemember Sound Therapy & Sound Healing Practitioner Course, accredited by the Complementary Therapists Accredited Association (CTAA).

In my sessions, I blend ancient instruments such as crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, Guzheng, ocean drum, small Tang Gu (Chinese drum), and wooden fish to create calming soundscapes. My intention is to help you experience mind-body harmony and encourage the smooth flow of Qi (positive energy)—the inspiration behind my brand name, HarmoniQi.
