The Sound

Tibetan Singing Bowls produce a rich, multi-layered tone when gently struck or played in circular motion. These sustained, harmonic vibrations are more than just soothing sounds. The Singing Bowl provides a subtle, energetic level to help recalibrate the body’s natural rhythms, inviting a deep sense of calm, clarity, and inner stillness.

Crystal Singing Bowls are made from pure quartz and produce clear, powerful tones that resonate deeply with the body and mind. In sound healing, these bowls are known for their ability to restore energetic flow, calm the nervous system, and enhance meditation.

The Guzheng is a traditional Chinese string instrument known for its elegant, flowing tones that resemble the sounds of nature, like water flowing or wind moving through trees. In sound healing, its gentle melodies help to soothe the heart, calm the mind, and awaken emotional release. The Guzheng has a similar sound to a Monochord.

Wind Chimes produce gentle, floating tones that echo the natural rhythms of the wind. In sound healing, their light, ethereal sounds help to clear stagnant energy, uplift the spirit, and create a sense of space and renewal.

The Ocean Drum creates the soft, rolling sound of ocean waves, inviting you to relax, release, and return to your natural rhythm. In sound healing, its flowing tones are used to calm the nervous system, ground the body, and evoke a deep sense of peace.

The small Tanggu (Drum) vibration connects directly with the body’s core, helping to stimulate circulation, release emotional blockages, and restore vitality. Its bold yet mindful rhythm invites us to return to the present moment, feeling centred and empowered.

The Wooden Fish is a traditional East Asian percussion instrument known for its soft, clear, and steady tones. In sound healing, its rhythmic sound encourages focus, mindfulness, and inner calm, guiding the listener into a meditative state.

About Me
Kaya ! My name is Michelle Lee
My journey into sound healing began with my own search for wellness. Over the years, I discovered that sound helped ease my chronic back pain, boost my immune system, and bring much-needed calm to my mind. I feel deeply called to share this powerful healing practice with others to help people find peace, balance, and clarity in their lives.
My musical roots began in my 20s, when I learnt and performed the Guzheng, a traditional Chinese zither. I took part in various performances for both commercial and non-profit events. Even after moving to Perth, I continued to teach Guzheng privately and performed in venues such as Carillon Square & Crown Perth.
Originally from Kuala Lumpur, I had a challenging start to life. As a child, I was often unwell and missed much of my formal education. I eventually completed a diploma in Mass Communication and worked as a sub-editor, journalist. Following a big turning point was working as a senior marketer and South East Asia Marketing Director in several international IT companies. In my late 30s, I moved to Perth to begin a new chapter. One of my lifelong dreams was to study at the university, and I proudly fulfilled that dream when I graduated from Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Arts in Tourism, Event Management, and Marketing.
As a certified & qualified Sound Healer, I have trained in both the iBalance Sound Healing Master Class and the SoulRemember Sound Therapy & Sound Healing Practitioner Course, accredited by the Complementary Therapists Accredited Association (CTAA).
In my sessions, I blend ancient instruments such as crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, Guzheng, ocean drum, small Tang Gu (Chinese drum), and wooden fish to create calming soundscapes. My intention is to help you experience mind-body harmony and encourage the smooth flow of Qi (positive energy)—the inspiration behind my brand name, HarmoniQi.
I welcome anyone aged 12 and above to experience the gentle yet profound effects of sound healing.
My mission is simple: to create a peaceful space where you can relax, reset, and reconnect with yourself.
